How is the academy managed?
Both Oaks Academy and Tree Tops Academy currently have a joint Governing Body under the South Maidstone Learning Federation.
The academy has a joint Board of Governors with representatives from the local authority, parents, staff and the community.
The Executive Headteacher of the academy is responsible to the academy based local Governing Board, and, together with the Senior Leadership Team, ensures that the academy achieves high standards for its children and is financially sound.
Decisions on the day-to-day management of the academy is made by the Executive Headteacher, supported by an Executive Director of the AET. The Head and Governing Body is responsible to the Executive Director, who in turn, is responsible to the CEO of the AET and the AET Board.
